Well done to all our competitors for taking part in the fun run.  It was bitterly cold but you all ran your socks off around quite a challenging circuit.

St George’s Day 2015

A fantastic day celebrating the English patron saint which we are very proud to be named after. From the photographs below you can see that the school was full of Knights, Princesses and Dragons, as well as the odd England football player! The pupils got so much out of the day, many of the activities led our pupils to think about British values and what it means to grow up in England today. However, our pupils did reenact the traditional myths, Kenzie in YR made a magnificent Dragon but struggled to select which princess to eat as there were so many! The afternoon was spent in the glorious sunshine competing in our houses (Blue Buzzards, Red Eagles, Green Hawks and Yellow Falcons) in a medieval style tournament with the star guest himself, Saint George on horse back!

A wonderful end to a fantastic adventure – Welcome back Year 4!!!

Survival Skills Day 2014

What an absolutely amazing day with bundles of fun had by all!! From assault courses to water slides: pond dipping to tents building and story time; the children had a full day of problem solving, discovery and laughter.  Survival day is all about being surrounded by nature and making the most of our environment, children learnt all about the insects that lived in the school pond and explore the grounds of the school to find natural treasures which they then made a personalised dream wand. It was a wonderful child initiated experience, were learning went far beyond the classroom and memories will be created to last a lifetime.
